(NEW YORK and LONDON) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP today announced that the firm received two 2015 Client Choice Awards based on individual awards won by New York partner Anthony Paccione and London partner Neil Robson, who were honored for their excellent client service in the Litigation and Capital Markets categories, respectively. The selection of Client Choice Awards winners is made exclusively on recommendations from senior corporate counsel worldwide.
"To be acknowledged by clients is the greatest compliment, and this recognition demonstrates the sense of trust and confidence our clients have in both Anthony and Neil as well as the value they provide to their clients' business," said Katten Chairman Vincent A.F. Sergi.
Client Choice recognizes those law firms and partners around the world who stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. The awards are given based on an extensive survey of senior corporate counsel, with this year's winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments.
Anthony Paccione, co-head of the New York Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, was the top choice in the Litigation category for New York. He concentrates on complex commercial, real estate and corporate/securities litigations. He has extensive trial experience in multi-week jury and non-jury matters and has handled appeals in both federal and state courts. Paccione represents a broad spectrum of clients, including hedge funds, banks (domestic and foreign), Fortune 500 companies, securities firms, futures commodity merchants, and other major financial institutions. He handles suits involving Ponzi schemes, lender liability claims, securities fraud, international law issues and securities matters. He also represents companies, their investors and boards in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), New York Attorney General and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) investigations and related civil lawsuits.
Neil Robson, a regulatory and compliance partner, was given top honors for Capital Markets in the United Kingdom. He focuses his practice on counseling hedge and private equity fund managers, investment advisers, broker dealers and proprietary traders on operational, regulatory and compliance issues. Robson regularly addresses Financial Conduct Authority and EU authorization and compliance issues under EU directives, cross-border issues in the financial services sector, financial crime (including market abuse, money laundering and bribery), regulatory capital requirements, regulatory reporting and disclosure obligations, formations and buyouts of financial services groups, and structuring and marketing (financial promotions) of investment funds and other financial services products and securities.
Established in 2005, the Client Choice Awards recognize those partners around the world who stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. The criteria for the awards focus on the ability to add real value to clients' business above and beyond other players in the market. Law firms and partners can only be nominated by senior corporate counsel. Clients are asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on the following client service criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of experience and use of technology.
