(CHARLOTTE) Katten announced today that Intellectual Property partner Dr. Jitendra "Jitty" Malik was recognized among the top 100 best performing attorneys representing petitioners in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings in the newly released IPR Intelligence Report – 2019 Edition.

With a deep knowledge of chemistry, polymer science, biochemistry and biophysics, Dr. Malik has a wide-ranging patent practice which includes patent litigation, post-grant patent practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), patent counseling, licensing and prosecution with a particular focus on pharmaceutical litigation and counseling under the Hatch-Waxman and Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Acts. Dr. Malik holds a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering and a master's degree in Chemistry.
