(DALLAS) Katten announced today that it was designated a finalist in the 2023 Best Places to Work in North Texas contest for the fourth year in a row. As part of its 21st annual Best Places to Work Awards, the Dallas Business Journal's program honors the top workplaces across Dallas-Fort Worth and the broader North Texas region. The list consists of organizations with the highest employee survey scores, courtesy of an index created by Quantum Workplace.

"This year marked Katten's fifth-year anniversary in Dallas, and we have quickly become one of the fastest growing law firms in North Texas," said Mark S. Solomon, managing partner of Katten's Dallas office. "This award underscores our commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive and collaborative culture that attracts and retains top talent by offering our people opportunities for professional and personal growth."

Katten opened the Dallas location in 2018 with a group of seven corporate partners focused mainly on private equity work to service the growing legal needs of the North Texas business community. Since then, the office has expanded to more than 65 attorneys to serve clients in a variety of areas including finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), health care, white collar and criminal defense, insolvency, real estate, corporate, private wealth and litigation.

"Our success continues to be a testament to the great people we have working here. When we look to grow, we always look to add leading attorneys in key practice areas and those who can contribute to a quality workplace culture centered on exceptional client service and a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion," said Solomon.
