The prestigious list aims to identify law firms that best support their employees across metrics, including quality of pay and benefits, work-life balance and flexibility, career opportunities and professional development, job and company stability, belongingness and esteem, and physical and psychological comfort.
The methodology for the Law Firms list analyzes publicly available employee sentiment and data that reflect how a company supports its workers' everyday experiences. To calculate the U.S. News Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list, the U.S. News & World Report analyzed data, including employee sentiment and legal market research, to derive six metrics for the list. To be eligible, firms must meet specific criteria, including having 10 or more US-based employee reviews on a common employer review website.
