Kimberly Smith Named Again to Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A List by Mergers & Acquisitions

Katten is pleased to share that Kimberly Smith was featured as one of the 2025 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers & Acquisitions. This is the fifth consecutive year that Mergers & Acquisitions has recognized Kimberly with this honor, which includes not only lawyers but also other dealmakers such as private equity investors.

This year's list recognized 14 women for their dealmaking achievements, ability to foster innovation, and impact within the larger mergers and acquisitions (M&A) landscape.

As the global chair of the Corporate department, Kimberly oversees strategic areas such as M&A, private equity (PE), capital markets, public finance and health care transactions. She leads over 150 corporate lawyers across the United States, the United Kingdom and China.

In her practice, Kimberly is widely recognized for leading complex M&A transactions for PE funds, family offices and other clients. She handles leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and joint ventures across multiple industries, including healthcare, business services, manufacturing and technology. Kimberly also serves on Katten's Executive Committee and its Board of Directors
