About Natasha Elyse Spann

Natasha Elyse Spann advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate matters. Natasha takes a pragmatic approach in order to find solutions that effectuate client objectives.

Persistent and detail-oriented

Both prior to and during law school, Natasha worked for nearly a decade in the transactional entertainment law space as a legal assistant, on the business operations side, and as an intern. During law school, she served as co-editor-in-chief of the Illinois Bar Journal's Illinois Law Update, was a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Analysis, and Advanced Legal Writing: Appellate Advocacy, on Trial Team and Moot Court, and represented clients on First Amendment matters in the inaugural class of the school's First Amendment Clinic. On Moot Court, she finished as an Octofinalist in the 2023 Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition.

Additionally, Natasha is passionate about and has volunteered and supported various causes concerning animal welfare, and youth education and career development.
