Robin Evans, associate in Katten's Insolvency and Restructuring practice, has been appointed chair of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Alumni Affinity Group at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.

The AAPI Alumni Affinity Group is among a network of alumni affinity groups that provide opportunities for Northwestern Law students and alumni to engage socially and professionally. Through virtual and in-person programming, alumni are able to connect with one another and with current students "who share common identities, allyship and interests."

As chair of the AAPI Alumni Affinity Group, Robin will be spearheading new initiatives to cultivate connections with the AAPI alumni community and to create new networking and mentoring opportunities for students and alumni. Working with other members of the AAPI Alumni Affinity Group, she will be heading efforts to develop and promote programming covering a variety of topics, including professional development, career advancement, and a broad spectrum of diversity, equity and inclusion issues. And alongside senior leadership and staff at Northwestern Law, Robin and her fellow group members will also be supporting the school's commitment to enhancing engagement with the broader Northwestern Law community.
