Two Katten attorneys will participate in the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law’s Spring 2026 Annual Symposium: Business Law in the Global Markets of Fashion & Luxury on Thursday, February 19. At 9:15 a.m., Corporate Partner Ilana Lubin will speak on the "Fashioning Deals: M&A and Corporate Structures in Luxury Houses" panel discussion. Panelists will explore how luxury houses structure mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations to expand their global reach. They will consider the legal, financial and governance challenges of high-value transactions that shape the future of the industry.
At 11:00 a.m., Ilana will join Corporate Associate Julia Brook to speak on "Financing Fashion: Capital Raising and Innovation in Luxury Markets." The panel will explore how luxury brands raise and deploy capital to sustain growth and innovation. Panelists will discuss private equity, venture financing and alternative capital structures, as well as the regulatory and strategic considerations driving investment in the fashion sector.
