The Illinois Bankers Association will hold a meeting entitled, "The Illinois Trust Code: Highlights for Fiduciaries," on Tuesday, April 6 from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The meeting will be presented by four members of the committee that drafted the Illinois Trust Code (ITC) and discuss how the code is relevant to fiduciaries, including fiduciary duties, identifying the people who should receive notices and accounts, notices and accounts, creditors’ rights and trust modification.
One of the agenda items, "Trust Modification, In Brief," will introduce the various tools that are now available to mofify the terms of a trust under the ITC to help it better achieve its purpose and facilitate smooth administration.
