Financial Markets and Funds Partner Michael Didiuk will serve as a guest lecturer at Columbia Law School on Monday, April 13. Mike will present "The Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and its interplay with the Investment Company Act of 1940," exploring the Investment Advisers Act and its interplay with the Investment Company Act. He will also discuss the evolution of blockchain technology and its intersection with federal securities laws.

Mike appears at the invitation of Michael Weiner, Lecturer in Law, whose class explores how registered funds became a fixture of American finance. Mr. Weiner also serves as the Chief Legal Officer of Morgan Stanley's unit investment trusts, the "Morgan Stanley Portfolios," and advises Morgan Stanley Wealth Management on the distribution of mutual funds, ETFs, and other registered investment products.
