Partners Brian Sodikoff and Andrew Klevorn will review the US Supreme Court’s precedential decision in “The Road Forward: Hatch-Waxman Litigation Settlements in the Wake of FTC v. Actavis” on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Associate Christopher Ferenc will moderate the discussion, which will review Federal Trade Commission v. Actavis, Inc. regarding the legality of reverse settlement payments that arise from Hatch-Waxman based patent litigations. Brian and Andrew will provide an overview of the issue and the Supreme Court holding, followed by a more detailed analysis of its impact on the pharmaceutical industry.
