Gloria Franke Shaw, a partner in the Litigation practice, will facilitate the "Section 230: Everything You Love and Hate About The Internet" session at 1:30 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, January 28. Panelists will discuss Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, lauded as the one of the most important laws protecting free speech and the law that gave us the modern internet, and a fixture of recent internet policy debates and blamed for everything from the proliferation of sex trafficking, cyberstalking and revenge porn to enabling anti-Conservative social media bias. They will provide a wide range of perspectives on Section 230's merits and limitations as well as the landscape of potential reform and what to expect next.
