The presentation will include a look at teleradiology, CINs, ACOs, physician practice management company (PPMC) affiliations and technical component (TC) conversions. Ken will present "Mergers and Acquisitions in Radiology—Reports from the Frontlines of National Companies and Private Equity Firms" at 10:45 a.m. (ET) on Friday, October 27. He will discuss the role private equity firms are playing in radiology mergers and acquisitions, as well as provide a deeper dive into physician practice management companies (PPMCs) and their objectives. Also on October 27, Ken will present "Thoughts from a "Premarital" Counselor on How to Have a Successful Marriage (Merger)" at 1:30 p.m. (ET). This presentation will explore types of mergers, the process for merging and legal and regulatory issues to consider, and significant questions that should be answered prior to a merger.
