Kenya Woodruff, Health Care partner, will moderate two sessions during the State Bar of Texas Health Law Section's Texas Health Law Conference. On Monday, October 5 at 9:30 a.m. CT, she will moderate "The Frontline Response to the Healthcare Crisis" session, which will discuss the initial response to COVID-19; lessons learned about the public health infrastructure, equipment and personnel shortages; the related economic impact; and the effect of federal, state and local governmental orders on the response.

On Tuesday, October 6 at 1:00 p.m. CT, Kenya will lead the "Diversity, Inclusion and the Path Forward" session, which covers successful strategies that each person can take to move diversity and inclusion efforts from discussion to decisive and effective action. The panelists will discuss overcoming analysis paralysis; tools to address bias barriers; building an inclusive team; and achieving lasting results.
