SUPPORT CLINICS
KATTEN PARTNERS WITH TRADEWEB MARKETS AND LSNYC TO HOST
IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE CLINIC
Continuing his history of partnering with Legal Services NYC (LSNYC) to host immigration clinics
since 2021, Financial Markets and Regulation Partner and Co-Chair Carl Kennedy organized
and led a clinic in our New York office on December 19, 2024, in partnership with Tradeweb
Markets. Katten’s team included Litigation Associate Taylor Quinlan; Commercial Litigation
Associate Alex San Martin; Financial Markets and Funds Associates Alexander Kim, Eli Krasnow,
Caron Song and Joshua Weiner and Structured Finance Associate Sarah Dieter, all from New
York, as well as Real Estate Associate Taylor Fisher from Washington, DC. The event was part of
a series of four immigration clinics held throughout 2024 in collaboration with LSNYC and
Katten clients.
CHICAGO OFFICE HOSTS NIJC AND OTHER LAW FIRMS FOR
IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE CLINIC
Katten’s Chicago office, in collaboration with the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC),
hosted an immigration assistance clinic on July 15. The firm hosted three smaller law firms and
NIJC staff, who, together with Katten attorneys, summer associates and business profession-
als, helped prepare asylum applications for pro bono clients. Katten participants included
Litigation Senior Counsel and Director of Pro Bono Services Jonathan Baum; Financial
Markets Litigation and Enforcement Associates Mitchell Caminer, Spencer Croat and Anna
Porter; Graphic Designer Rick de Anda; Litigation Legal Executive Assistant Rosie Gradilla;
Government and Public Finance Partners Chad Doobay and Kelly Hutchinson; Real Estate
Associate Sarah Megan Erb; Investment Management and Trading Partner Jonah Roth and
Capital Markets Partner Alyse Sagalchik. Rick also recruited his sister and sister-in-law to
assist as interpreters.
