The firm was mentioned in an article in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin on the results of the Call to Action, an initiative launched in 2004 by the Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women aimed at addressing the low number of women attorneys in leadership positions. Katten, along with 43 other law firms and six legal departments, was a signatory to the Call to Action goals. Among those goals was increasing the percentage of women partners at law firms.
