A National Law Journal survey of the nation’s 250 largest law firms ranked Katten as one of the “Top 20 Firms for Women Partners.” With women attorneys making up 25.81% of all firm partners, Katten placed tenth on the list. The survey also found that women lawyers have fared better in the recession than their male counterparts. Numbers of women lawyers at the nation’s largest firms decreased by 2% in 2009, compared with a 4% decrease for men. (“Bad times could have been worse for women,” November 30, 2009)
