Hear It Directly from the Source

Katten will host a seminar titled "Hear It Directly from the Source: Katten Attorneys Sit Down with the CFTC's DSIO Director and NFA's New OTC Derivatives Head." This seminar is scheduled to take place at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4 and will be led by Financial Markets and Funds attorneys Guy Dempsey, Gary DeWaal, Kevin Foley and Carl Kennedy. Katten attorneys will engage in a panel discussion with Josh Sterling, Director of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight, and Michael Otten, National Futures Association's recently appointed Vice President of OTC Derivatives regarding various derivatives regulatory compliance topics. Specifically, the discussion will cover DSIO's recent guidance regarding CCO annual reports, NFA's examination priorities for the coming year and other timely topics.
