Chicago Private Wealth associate Jeffrey Glickman will participate in a Katten presentation to BMO Harris Bank entitled, "Heckerling 2019 Roundup," on Monday, March 18. Other presenters include Private Wealth counsel Tracy Lyerly, Private Wealth partner Adam Damerow, and Private Wealth associates Benjamin Lavin and Louis Laski.
The presentation will cover recent developments in the estate planning world, including the arrival of the Illinois Trust Code, the introduction of the Uniform Trust Code (UTC) in the 2019 legislative session and Colorado's adoption of the UTC in January. The presentation will also discuss domestic asset protection trusts, state taxation of trusts and basis planning.
