(DALLAS) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP announced today that Kelly D. Hine has joined its Litigation practice as a partner in Dallas. Hine is the latest attorney that is part of Katten's substantial investment in Texas with the opening of its Dallas office in February.

"Our priority in Dallas is to build upon the group of outstanding attorneys already there whose exceptional skills span corporate and transactional, tax, white collar and commercial litigation matters," said Katten Chairman Roger P. Furey. "As a well-respected trial lawyer, Kelly will provide us with additional depth and expertise in areas important to our clients, particularly in North Texas where our business relationships continue to grow."

Hine leverages his more than 20 years of trial experience to resolve complex, multiparty disputes over trade secrets, contracts, commercial torts, non-disclosure/noncompetition agreements, trademarks, copyrights, patents, and antitrust matters. His diverse clients include private equity funds and their portfolio companies, public companies and their senior officers, high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and investors.

"Kelly's skills and experience as a litigation and arbitration attorney will go far in helping our clients solve their most challenging business disputes," said Mark S. Solomon, Katten's Dallas managing partner.  "He is a great addition to our nationally recognized Litigation practice and our ever-expanding Dallas office, which has doubled in size in fewer than six months."
