(LONDON) Katten Muchin Rosenman UK LLP (Katten) announced today that it represented Swedish asset manager Areim AB (Areim) in relation to its SAGA joint venture, which recently signed an agreement for its third acquisition.
A London-based cross-practice Katten team led by Financial Markets and Funds Partner Edward A. Tran advised the long-standing client in connection with its 50–50 joint venture with VGP, a pan-European logistics and industrial real estate firm. The latest transaction, announced this month, involves the acquisition of 18 assets in 13 logistics parks across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Tran was assisted by Corporate Partner Oliver Williams, Financial Markets and Funds Partner Neil Robson and Associate Ciara McBrien. Katten also advised Areim on the establishment of the SAGA joint venture and previous acquisitions.
