Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce that Meredith Martin Addy, Karen Artz Ash and Kristin J. Achterhof are listed in Managing Intellectual Property's inaugural “IP Stars - Top 250 Women in IP.” Katten was one of only a few law firms with more than one lawyer selected for inclusion.

Mimi's inclusion on the list was attributed to her technical literacy with clients, judges and fellow attorneys, as well as her complex litigation experience. Karen was named to the list based on her prominence in the fashion and other industries, and as a result of overwhelming praise by clients and other top lawyers. Kristin was recognized for her role in managing the extensive and valuable trademark portfolio of, and her in-house and outside counsel roles at, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, and for her litigation victories on behalf of several companies throughout the past year.

“We are very proud that Managing Intellectual Property has recognized Mimi, Karen and Kristin for their significant work,” said Floyd A. Mandell, national co-head of Katten’s IP practice and co-head of the firm’s Trademarks practice.

The nominated partners appearing in Managing Intellectual Property’s “Top 250 Women in IP” were chosen based upon the rankings of the 2013 edition of “IP Stars,” researched between June 2012 and April 2013. That research included thousands of interviews and surveys by IP partners and law firms across the United States. The most prominent female attorneys from that process make up the “Top 250 Women in IP.”
