As head of Katten's New York Trusts and Estates practice, she is committed to developing strategies that respond to the constant changes in the tax structure and economic climate, including counseling on asset protection, business succession planning and intergenerational transfers.

Dempsey, the top choice in the Derivatives category for New York and 2014 winner in the Derivatives category for both New York and the US, is of counsel and focuses his practice on derivatives and structured products and on bank regulation. He advises clients on derivatives and structured products of all types across all asset classes, as well as on related corporate governance, regulatory, collateral, compliance, insolvency and litigation issues arising from ISDA documentation, the Dodd-Frank Act, and the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulations.

Hassan, the exclusive winner in the Real Estate category for Washington, DC, is a partner who focuses her practice on commercial real estate primarily handling transactions in the hospitality and lodging industry including, the acquisition, financing, disposition, development, franchising, leasing and management of hotels, resorts, restaurants and special event facilities. She has acted as primary counsel in numerous transactions worldwide, including on every continent other than Antarctica.

Mandell, the exclusive winner in the Intellectual Property: Trademarks category for Illinois, is a partner and national co-chair of Katten's Intellectual Property department and co-head of the Trademarks and Trademark Litigation practice.
