(CHICAGO) Katten announced today that the firm has been named a Top Performer and Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), which recognizes law firms and corporations showing a strong commitment to building a more inclusive legal profession.
"With DEI as a cornerstone of Katten's culture, we are honored once again to be recognized by LCLD, an organization we have partnered with for many years to develop the next generation of legal leaders," said Chief Diversity Partner Leslie D. Minier. "Investing in our talent is a priority at Katten, and LCLD's programs provide our attorneys with opportunities to grow and excel in their careers."
The Top Performer distinction recognizes organizations for their participation in LCLD programs and activities. The Compass Award recognizes individuals and organizations that in a single year have a managing partner or general counsel engage with LCLD through a variety of activities, nominate an LCLD Fellow and Pathfinder, and participate in an LCLD Pipeline program.
LCLD is comprised of more than 450 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners — the leaders of the profession — who are committed to ensuring that all talent thrives, with the ultimate goal of building a more equitable and diverse legal profession.
