In the wake of the disaster resulting from Hurricane Harvey, the entire Katten family extends our thoughts and prayers to those who have been affected. We continue to assess how we can be most helpful to the community, but have begun by partnering with Airlink—an organization that matches aircraft capacity with nonprofits responding to disasters—and are providing them with financial assistance and support on a pro bono basis to help ensure the delivery of supplies, emergency personnel and volunteers to aid those in the Houston area. We will continue to support relief efforts in multiple ways as the recovery continues.
Our Houston office is open, however, our utmost concern is for the safety of our people. Most of our staff is able to operate remotely, and the firm stands ready to serve the needs of our clients with resources in Texas and across our footprint.
