(WASHINGTON, DC) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP announced today that partner Claudine A. Chen-Young was selected to participate in a program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to help identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

"Her participation further demonstrates Katten's longstanding commitment to providing more opportunities and resources to equip diverse attorneys with the tools they need to achieve career success."
As a partner in Katten's Structured Finance and Securitization practice in the firm's Washington, DC office, Chen-Young has extensive experience with securitizations of all types of residential mortgage loans and mortgage-related assets. She assists clients in developing and executing complex deal structures and novel transactions and establishing new mortgage-backed securitization programs. Chen-Young advises issuers and underwriters in connection with asset financings and securitizations involving a number of financial assets.
As a participant in LCLD's Fellows Program, which has trained more than 1,600 attorneys since 2011, Chen-Young will be offered a yearlong professional development training program aimed at building relationship and leadership skills and devoted to peer-group projects and "extensive contact with LCLD's top leadership and the best teachers in the business," according to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr.
