About Kelly R. Rizzo

Kelly Rizzo focuses her practice on commercial real estate. She represents a wide variety of clients in connection with property acquisitions, loan refinancing and commercial leasing matters for multimillion-dollar transactions across all asset classes.

Helping clients make informed decisions

Kelly believes in outlining the risks as well as providing critical recommendations to her clients throughout and beyond the real estate transaction. She has significant negotiating skills regarding landlord and tenant issues and has extensive experience reviewing confidentiality agreements.

Kelly is a current member and prior council secretary and communications chair for the Sports and Entertainment Law section of the North Carolina Bar Association. Since law school, she remains connected with seasoned sports and entertainment attorneys across the state.

Prior to joining Katten, Kelly worked for another firm as a real estate analyst working with joint ventures, preferred equity and mezzanine loan transactions.
