About Lauren Eiten

Lauren Eiten represents clients in a range of litigation issues with a focus on intellectual property matters and related commercial litigation.

Building solid client relationships through communication

Lauren concentrates her practice on intellectual property litigation and related commercial litigation with a focus on trademark infringement, trade secrets, non-competes, and contract disputes. She serves as a Chicago Women in Intellectual Property committee member, an Illinois Law Alumni board member, and is an active member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Lauren has a strong commitment to pro bono work and has worked on intellectual property, immigration, and criminal pro bono matters.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Lauren served in state and federal government, working in policy and public outreach. This experience developed Lauren’s communication skills and ability to identify issues quickly and effectively. She also worked at Uncharted LLC where she edited and publicized a bestselling Canadian memoir.

During her time at the Illinois College of Law, Lauren served as the Student Bar Association President and Internet & Symposium Editor of the Illinois Law Review. She competed in the ABA National Negotiation Competition, finishing in the top 10 teams. She was in the inaugural class of the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic, where she helped clients dispute Social Security Disability Insurance denials, and she completed the Illinois College of Law Leadership Project.
