Real Estate Partner Louise Carroll, Affordable Housing and Community Development Co-Chair, was honored with the Strengthening Communities Award at the Center for an Urban Future's (CUF) Gala in New York on October 22, 2025.
CUF recognized Louise for being a changemaker "in addressing New York City’s affordability crisis and strengthening communities across the five boroughs." CUF praised her work in her prior role as Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) Commissioner, in which she oversaw one of the nation's largest affordable housing initiatives, accelerated the city's plan to create and preserve 300,000 affordable homes, and led the implementation of the highly innovative Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) program. Now at Katten, Louise continues to drive initiatives that expand affordable housing and "stronger, more resilient neighborhoods."
