About Megan E. Ricker
Megan Ricker assists high-net-worth individuals and their families with the preparation and administration of estate plans. She believes that exceptional estate planning is rooted in a deep understanding of her clients, their families and the legacies they hope to leave behind.
Technical excellence paired with compassionate, relationship-driven counsel
Megan enjoys the human element of connecting with clients during times where they may be looking for more emotional support. Before focusing on private wealth, she worked in corporate law, where she regularly managed complex diligence processes; coordinated tax, finance and regulatory teams; and translated highly technical issues into practical guidance for clients. She transferred the organization, precision and strategic thinking required from her corporate practice into a focus on trusts and estates, as she believes the practice is where she can build deeper, multigenerational client relationships and serve as a long-term advisor.
During law school, Megan worked at the USC Small Business clinic, where she advised small business entrepreneurs and drafted documents that could be the tools in which they change their lives. Additionally, she served on the executive board of her law review, where she was in charge of creating and managing the "write-on" competition for law review and journal placement. She is also passionate about disability rights, and has experience volunteering with special needs adolescents.
