The National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) honored Michael Callahan, of counsel on Katten's Health Care team, this week with the ICON Award during its 44th NAMSS Educational Virtual Conference & Exhibition. The ICON (Inspirational Commitment to the Organization NAMSS) Award is presented to an individual or group who has demonstrated success in heightening aware ness of NAMSS and elevating the esteem of, the medical services profession. Michael has been a regular presenter at NAMSS programs since 2007, speaking on a range of topics that include physician late career policies, bylaws, peer review, accreditation, privilege and confidentiality protections.
