Chicago associate Robin Evans, Insolvency and Restructuring, was named a Rising Star by the National Immigrant Justice Center for her pro bono work representing immigrant juveniles entering the United States.
Robin will be recognized on June 6 during the NIJC's Human Rights Awards, which recognizes individuals who have made outstanding achievements to promote, protect, and advance human rights throughout the world.
Robin noted she is grateful to NIJC for the opportunity to learn more about her community and to use her legal skills to help others.
"Clients and their families and guardians greatly appreciate the help as they seek a brighter future," Robin said. "Advocating for immigrant juveniles while gaining valuable legal experience has been an honor and a privilege."
