Implementing practical, creative strategies to identify and combat fraud

Scott is a litigator who represents major health, auto, and property and casualty insurers across the country as they seek to prevent fraud and implement efficient recovery strategies. Scott utilizes his broad experience to craft individually tailored solutions, ranging from pre-litigation investigations and strategies to post-complaint discovery, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations. By leveraging innovative technology and the firm’s institutional knowledge, he helps reduce and manage litigation costs. Scott also maintains an active pro bono practice, including ongoing work with Legal Aid Chicago through Katten’s José de Diego community legal clinic.

While in law school, Scott was a member of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal staff and served as vice president of the Loyola Chicago OUTLaw chapter. He received CALI Excellence Awards in Property, Advocacy, Legal Writing and Trial Practice, and has been inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Sigma Nu, Phi Sigma Iota and Pi Sigma Alpha honor societies.
