Women on the Move 2023: Navigating the Path to Your Success

In an article for WILS Connect, Health Care Associate Erica Youngerman recapped an October 2023 Women on the Move program she coordinated, "Navigating the Path to Your Success." Held annually by the New York State Bar Association's Women in Law Section, the program provides guidance to lawyers striving for success.

The program included welcoming remarks from the WILS chair and NYSBA president, plus a keynote address by Hon. Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix, Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department, who shared her personal journey, highlighting the challenges she faced. The event also featured three panels, "Navigating Change for Success," moderated by Erica, "Overcoming Gender Bias on the Path to Success," and "Redefining Success." Among others, the final panel featured Financial Markets and Funds Partner Wendy E. Cohen, who is managing partner of the firm's New York office, and Partner Kate Ulrich Saracene, chair of the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice and co-chair of Katten's Well-Being Committee.
