(LONDON) Katten Muchin Rosenman UK LLP announced today that Prav Reddy has joined the firm’s Insolvency and Restructuring practice as a partner in London.
“We expect the insolvency and restructuring market to be particularly active over the next few years. Prav’s exceptional legal skillset combined with his outstanding industry knowledge and deep understanding of the challenges businesses face in today’s economic climate will enhance our already leading ability to meet client goals and develop new business relationships in London and beyond,” said Peter Sugden, managing partner of Katten Muchin Rosenman UK LLP. “We are excited to welcome Prav to our team.”
Prav Reddy represents creditors, debtors, banks and distressed companies in corporate and personal insolvency matters. He has extensive cross-border experience handling both transactional and contentious insolvency, particularly officeholder-driven contentious work including undervalue, preference, misfeasance and actions related to section 423 of the Insolvency Act 1986. In addition, he counsels clients on asset recoveries and disputes relating to trusts and beneficial interests.
Joining with him is senior associate Mark Johnson, who advises banks, financial institutions, companies, directors and trade creditors, as well as insolvency practitioners in administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies. He has experience working at a major insolvent investment bank as a solicitor in the in-house legal team. Prior to coming to Katten, both attorneys were at Charles Russell Speechlys.
