27th Annual New York State Affordable Housing Conference

Affordable Housing and Community Development Partner and Co-Chair Louise Carroll will speak on "Distressed Portfolios Reimagined: Tools to Restore Performance" at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, during the 27th Annual New York State Affordable Housing Conference. Speakers will share immediate strategies for rent recovery and improved management, including enhanced tenant communications, payment agreements with multiple payment options, rigorous screening, and sometimes assistance with "one shots" and, when necessary, evictions. The session will also discuss operational analyses to cut costs, including vendor renegotiations and utility management.
