James J. Calder, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Antitrust Practice, was quoted in a Competition Law360 article which discussed the dramatic increase in antitrust case filings in 2006 over last year. Mr. Calder noted in the article that while there may in fact be an increase in the number of cases filed, that does not answer the real question, which is, “Is there an increase in the number of alleged conspiracies?” (Antitrust Case Filings Soar in 2006, August 4, 2006).
