About Andrew C. Lillis

Andrew Lillis helps close debt financing transactions for private equity groups, senior, mezzanine and subordinated lenders, and private and public companies. Andy helps his clients resolve unexpected problems and negotiates hard for their interests with a grace under pressure and perseverance honed during his time as a US naval officer on a fast-attack nuclear submarine.

Breadth and depth of debt financing knowledge and experience

Andy's experience in debt financing transactions includes senior, subordinated, bridge and mezzanine facilities, both secured and unsecured, and have ranged in size from several millions to more than a billion dollars.

Andy is also one of Katten's sports attorneys who advises clients on a wide variety of debt financing matters and collaborates closely with colleagues in Katten's transactional sports practice areas. He advises on credit facilities, including senior secured loans, debt financing for teams, owners, leagues, and real estate, as well as private equity, mezzanine and subordinated investments, and asset-based lending.
