Michael Callahan, Health Care of counsel, will co-present the "COVID-19: Legal Updates Affecting MSPs" webinar on Tuesday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. Central. This webinar will focus on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the responsibilities of hospitals and medical services professionals (MSPs), taking into consideration the CMS 1135 waivers given to requesting states as well as the waivers that state governments have issued. The focus will be on privileging, credentialing, telehealth, disaster privileges, temporary privileges, etc. Topics include:
- How CMS and other changes, updates, waivers, etc., are affecting MSPs.
- How the states are doing their own waivers which reflect but are also different from the federal changes.
