Trusts and Estates special counsel Diane Burks was honored as a 40 Under 40 winner by the Charlotte Business Journal, highlighting the major strides she has made in her career, while leaving a positive impact on the Charlotte community. When asked about the most important issue facing the region, Diane focused on the city’s housing and infrastructure. "Charlotte’s population is growing so rapidly, and the city needs to maintain the housing and infrastructure to manage this growth." The publication also recognized Diane’s current civic and volunteer activities, which includes her work with 501(c)(3) organizations. "I stay in contact with the 501(c)(3) organizations that I’ve obtained tax-exemption for and strive to actively promote awareness for these groups and participate in their fundraising efforts."
