Gabriel Hertzberg is a highly skilled litigator with deep courtroom experience. He regularly counsels business owners and entrepreneurs, executives and corporate boards on matters ranging in size and complexity in commercial disputes, debtor-creditor litigation and government, regulatory and internal investigations.

Trusted counsel with a prosecutorial perspective

As a former assistant attorney general for the State of New York, Gabriel understands what the stakes are for his clients and is adept at anticipating the moves of opposing counsel. He has particular experience within the financial services industry, counseling hedge funds and investment managers in investment-related disputes. Gabriel also helps clients navigate investigations and enforcement actions from a variety of government agencies, including the US Attorneys' Offices and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Beyond the financial industry, Gabriel serves a broad range of clients facing disputes involving allegations of fraud and fraudulent transfer, breach of fiduciary duty by officers and directors, and breach of contract.
