Katten will present its "Independent Sponsor Series: Success in a Challenging Environment," in person in the Dallas office at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27; in the New York office at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11; and in the Chicago office at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18. The series will consist of presentations of Katten's annual survey compiled from extensive market data, as its most comprehensive look to date at trends in the independent sponsor market.
Additionally, each city will host a panel discussion where experienced panelists including Katten Corporate partners Peter Bogdanow, David Kravitz, and Tom Lamprecht will explore how transactions are being executed in a challenging macroeconomic environment with high interest rates and tight credit markets. The panels will also include representatives from independent sponsors and capital sources, including family offices, private equity funds and lenders, each of whom offers a unique perspective on how an independent sponsor can be set up to succeed in this challenging environment.
