Over the past year, Katten came together to serve clients and support each other in a number of ways. In making those connections, we continually see how our differences make us stronger, especially when we bring our diverse perspectives and backgrounds to the table to create tailored solutions for clients and the firm.
In our 2023 DEI Annual Report, we highlight the actions we took in 2022 to diversify our workforce, strengthen our inclusive culture and advance equity within our firm. We feature firm activities, initiatives and individual accomplishments achieved by our attorneys and business professionals throughout the year.
The report highlights many in-person gatherings, including our multi-office Diversity Summit, plus new training and education campaigns to help us tackle implicit bias. And we reviewed the firm's popular Perspectives Speaker Series, which enabled attorneys, clients and business professionals to learn from Barack Obama Foundation CEO Valerie Jarret, LGBTQ+ author Eric Cervini and disability rights advocate Haben Girma.
At Katten, DEI is a strategic priority as it influences how we serve our clients, how we develop and support our attorneys and business professionals, and how we connect with one another as a firm.
