(CHICAGO) Katten announced today that Corporate Partners Adam R. Klein and Daniel H. Render were honored on The Hollywood Reporter inaugural "Sports Power Lawyers" list, bolstering Katten's status as a go-to firm for a wide range of matters related to the business of professional sports.

The list names some of the most sought-after attorneys in US professional sports, highlighting their client portfolios, extensive experience and reputations in the industry. The report said of Klein "there is hardly a team (he) hasn't assisted in some manner" and noted that Render "is known industry wide as an expert in acquisitions and sales."

Klein and Render represent various teams in Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), National Football League (NFL), Major League Soccer (MLS), Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), as well as arenas and stadiums, lenders, investors, sponsors and regional sports networks, to name some.

The latest distinction follows their recognition by the Sports Business Journal as "Power Players: Outside Counsel" in 2021.
