London Training Contract
Katten's London office offer three Training Contracts each year, where you will have the opportunity to rotate through a minimum of four seats across a two-year period.
Providing a full service to clients means we have a variety of practice areas, which ensures you get as broad an experience as possible. Some of the seats you can expect to cover throughout your Training Contract include:

- Corporate and M&A
- Private Credit
- Litigation
- Insolvency & Restructuring
- Employment
- Tax
- Real Estate and Hotel & leisure
- IP, Commercial & Data Protection
Our Training Contract is flexible, designed with your interests in mind as well as our desire to create rounded, commercial qualified Katten lawyers with strong legal knowledge.
In order to be considered for a Training Contract with us, you will need to first take part in our Summer Vacation Scheme.
London Summer Vacation Scheme
Applications for our 2025 Summer Vacation Scheme, taking place 16th to 20th June 2025 inclusive will open on Monday 7th October. Applications will close on Tuesday 31st December at 11.59pm.
Our Summer Vacation Scheme is open to all graduates, penultimate-year law students and final year non-law students, and we welcome applications from all degree disciplines. You should have, or be on track for, at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree.
Successful participants will be offered a Training Contract to commence in September 2027.
