Health Care associate M. Ramana Rameswaran was named to the National Minority Quality Forum's 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health list, recognizing his health care industry accomplishments and his efforts to help reduce health disparities in minority communities.

The Washington, DC-based National Minority Quality Forum is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research and educational organization dedicated to ensuring that high-risk racial and ethnic populations and communities receive optimal health care. Ramana will receive this award at the 2020 NMQF Summit on Health Disparities and Spring Health Braintrust held in April.

As an associate in Katten's Washington, DC office, Ramana advises hospitals and health systems, physician organizations, medical device suppliers and manufacturers, pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies on a range of regulatory, transactions, investigatory and compliance matters. He is the longest serving Young Lawyer Representative to the Governing Council of the American Bar Association's Health Law Section and an active member of the South Asian Bar Association. He is also an active Nationally Registered EMT and certified Emergency Medical Services Instructor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In 2019, Ramana was honored as a 40 Under 40 award recipient by the Leadership Center for Excellence, a nonprofit resource for leadership development and civic engagement in Arlington, Virginia.
