Partner Michael Callahan will present "Best Steps to Avoid the Need for Fair Hearing & Data Bank Reports" session during the Michigan Association Medical Staff Services (MAMSS) 38th Annual Conference on Thursday, May 4 at 3:15 p.m. This presentation will discuss the importance of identifying quality of care and behavioral issues as early as possible in order to properly address and resolve them without the need to resort to expensive and time consuming fair hearings, appeals and possible litigation. It also will explore best practices and use of "collegial intervention" and similar methods that avoid disciplinary interactions and promote a "just culture" within the hospital.
