Managing Intellectual Property Honors Karen Artz Ash Among "Top 250 Women in IP"

Karen Artz Ash, co-chair of Katten's Trademark/Copyright/Advertising/Privacy practice group, has been named on Managing Intellectual Property's 2022 list of the "Top 250 Woman in IP." This is the seventh year in which Karen has been selected by Managing Intellectual Property for its annual list of leading female intellectual property (IP) practitioners across the globe.

Long recognized as a fixture in the fashion industry, Karen has built an IP practice that serves a range of multi-national fashion and beauty brands seeking to enforce and safeguard their brands and other proprietary rights. Her work covers clients' domestic and international IP concerns and offers both practical and creative solutions to their individual needs. With a background in economics and finance, Karen has a deep understanding of several disciplines that informs her representation of clients across a wide spectrum of matters.

The Top 250 Women in IP list honors "some of the senior female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year." The practitioners featured on the 2022 list were selected from Managing Intellectual Property's general IP Stars list for 2022, which recognizes senior practitioners across the globe who have been recommended or identified as leaders in their respective firms or jurisdictions.
