In her practice, Christina advises banks, bank holding companies, and state-licensed consumer and commercial lenders, as well as providers of capital to consumer and commercial lending businesses.
Capital Markets Partner Farzad Damania is serving on the Capital Markets Editorial Advisory Board. Farzad was selected in part for his cross-border experience related to capital markets and detailed knowledge of securities law compliance, advising public companies, boards and officers on corporate governance and public offerings.
Financial Markets and Funds Partner Daniel Davis, Financial Markets and Regulation co-chair, is serving on the FinTech Editorial Advisory Board. Dan was selected in part for his experience prior to Katten as General Counsel at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), where he helped oversee the agency's first FinTech initiative.
Health Care Partner Ramana Rameswaran is serving a second term on the Health Care Editorial Advisory Board. In his practice, Ramana wields his in-house experience from both the health care and pharmaceutical industries to provide strategic guidance on health care transactional and regulatory issues related to state and federal fraud and abuse laws, telehealth, corporate practice of medicine, operational issues, provider reimbursement, clinical trials and more. He also assists with health care policy analysis and advocacy.
International Arbitration Partner and Chair Miriam Harwood is serving on the International Arbitration Editorial Advisory Board. As a recognized leader in international arbitration, Miriam was selected in part for her decades of experience handling high-profile, high-stakes disputes in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, as well as litigation in US courts. In her practice, she has represented sovereign states, state-owned entities and private corporations in a broad array of cases.
Financial Markets and Funds Partner Susan Light, Broker-Dealer Regulation co-chair, is serving on the Securities Editorial Advisory Board. In her practice, Sue applies over 30 years of experience from previous roles as a senior leader and regulatory officer inside both the New York Stock Exchange and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority to counsel clients on any securities regulatory problem that may confront broker-dealers and other financial services firms.
