About Nikita Yogeshwarun

Nikita Yogeshwarun concentrates her practice on white collar criminal defense and health care, including a broad range of regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters, internal investigations, and complex economic crimes. She provides thorough insight and tailored solutions for her clients, defending them before agencies such as the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Nikita's practice includes environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters, where she analyzes evolving trends in the global ESG space in order to counsel companies on their implementation of policies that consider critical factors, including climate-related disclosures, racial justice and equity, shareholder activism, cybersecurity and data resilience, and human rights litigation and arbitration.

Dedication to detail and effective advocacy

Prior to joining Katten, Nikita externed at the Chambers of the United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals in The Hague. Additionally, Nikita served as the online editor of the Berkeley Journal of International Law and president of the Animal Law Society. Through the International Human Rights Law Clinic, Nikita worked closely with the Ugandan government to draft a cross-sectoral handbook for the investigation, prosecution and adjudication of gender-based violence.
